The camera traps installed by @ecodecbenin, with the help of Cathalijne (@all4trees, who is continuing her environmental analysis work in Benin), have already produced their first images.
📷Images of primates that are rarely observed directly in the wild.
Thanks also to Mariano from @oddbongbenin, who, as a primatologist, helped us identify them.
A fine example of teamwork, and partners we at Humy are proud to showcase.
👉 Because sustainable projects are built by working together.

Bénédicte Guilbert is on a one-year volunteering placement in Cambodia.
With over 15 years’ experience in the voluntary sector and organisational capacity-building, Bénédicte is supporting our partner ADF in the development of a crafts sector.
👉Its mission is part of the protection of Phnom Kulen National Park
Crafts help to develop sources of income for villagers.

Marc accompanied us to Benin in late 2025.
Thanks to her support, more women have been able to set up sustainable businesses through a new microcredit fund.
Beekeepers were also able to receive training and equipment.
A big thank you to him and to all our patrons for standing by Humy.
Local partners: @oddbongbenin and @ecodecbenin

This is taking place in the Hlanzoun Forest region in Benin, in partnership with @ecodecbenin
A stunning swamp forest which we were lucky enough to visit during our mission in October 2025.
There are currently 39 women running their own businesses. This is a source of joy for them and means less damage to the forest.
It’s a successful project… But it doesn’t stop there.
Thank you

Mission to Madagascar with Sophie from @homme_et_environnement.
Thank you to everyone: partners, sponsors, supporters, contributors and our fellow travellers.
#onghumy #biodiversity #madagascar
Since the beginning of our mission in Madagascar, the boat and especially the pirogue is certainly the place where we spend the most time😁
This is hardly surprising given that our project sites are quite far apart and often difficult to access.
We can say that this is a mission where we get our feet wet!
Always accompanied by Sophie from @homme_et_environnement

Mission report- AMBOHIDRAVY
Here too, it's important for us to understand the situation, see where projects stand and also take stock of needs.
👉Humy financed equipment for the Maison des Femmes dedicated mainly to handicrafts.
👉And also funds the ecoguards' allowances.
Observation: There are many poachers, generally armed, in the Ambohidravy forest and the ecoguards are under-equipped.

We are continuing our mission in Madagascar in the Ambalakalanoro region.
It's not an easy region to get to, but it's a necessary trip to understand, observe and take stock of the progress of projects and needs.
Accompanied by @homme_et_environnement

We arrived in Madagascar on Sunday.
The aim is simple: to tour the sites where Humy operates.
The island is big and the sites are far apart, so you'll be eating from the car;)
And that's not counting the surprises on the slopes.
FOHISOKINA
- Humy helped to finance part of the construction of the school, as well as the salaries of 3 teachers.
- The nursery, also funded by Humu, is intended to reforest the habitat of the endangered Arlepi frog (Mantella Cowanii).
There are currently 1050 trees of 7 native tree species in the nursery.

🌿HUMY will be celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
20 years and still the same passion, the same dedication to protecting what we hold most dear: the Earth, biodiversity.

🖤 A few days ago we learned of the death of Fatimata Abidine, the mother of @mohamedagrissa, our long-standing partner in Burkina Faso.
Our warmest thoughts are with his family.
@rodolpheco.official once again alongside Humy.
The brand is committed to protecting the environment, and this year it's showing it once again.
Many thanks @rodolpheco.official

A place well worth a visit.
The project is new, but with our partner @oddbongbenin, we are convinced of the advantages of the Gnanhouizounmé forest.
And the presence of red-bellied monkeys is no stranger🐒

👉 you have an appointment
Our team is on site. Motivated, caring and very friendly.
Once again, last week we launched our «street collection» mission.
To meet you
About Humy
And to remind you that every gesture counts.
So if you see anyone dressed in orange, go and say hello to Laurinne, Mathis, Alexis, Séraphin or Ophélie: they've got something to tell you.
Thank you🙏

Choosing which projects Humy supports is both simple and ..... complicated.
Simple, because there are so many things to do, so many places to protect, so many communities to support.
It's complicated because we don't «play» with biodiversity. We need each project to meet certain criteria.
And these criteria are essential for Humy and those we support.

🦫🦜 World Wildlife Day! 🦅🐒
On 3 March we celebrate International Wildlife Day. 🥳
🛠️ By funding and working directly on the ground in 6 countries in the tropics, and with the desire to develop conservation activities in mainland France too, the HUMY association is involved in protecting wildlife. 🔭
💫 In this way, our projects co-developed with our various local partners benefit more than 4,500 animal species worldwide. We are also involved in preserving critical ecosystems such as wetlands, swamp forests, different types of tropical forest (dry, evergreen and semi-caducifolia), coral reefs, high-altitude ecosystems (the paramos), etc... All these ecosystems are vital to the resilience of nature on a planetary scale and to maintaining a climatic balance that allows life on Earth. 🦉🦋🐢🐃
✊ Together, let's not weaken in the face of the erosion of biodiversity and let's continue our actions for a living, resilient world!

🪸 World Seagrass Day 🪸
1 March is International Seagrass Day!
🔬 Seagrass beds can be found in many of the world's oceans. They are one of the most important marine ecosystems in many ways. They serve as breeding grounds for all kinds of fish species, filter pollution, provide refuge and food for many species, limit erosion in coastal areas and produce a huge amount of oxygen! 💪
💫 By supporting Naturevolution Indonesia and in particular the programme dedicated to marine biodiversity, HUMY is helping to conserve the seagrass beds in Matarape Bay in Sulawesi Tenggara.

When our sponsors accompany us on our missions on the ground, we build trust and, above all, projects grow.
In Benin, after our return in October 2025, we are continuing to develop projects and increase the number of beneficiaries.
Protecting nature by supporting local populations is essential to Humy.

➡️ New profile of a member who recently joined the ODDB team @oddbongbenin, our partner on the ground in Benin.
Jacquobin's skills include coordinating the eco-guards working to preserve the Kikélé forest.
And by protecting this forest, an entire population of Geoffroy's Colobus is protected.
‼️Ces magnificent monkeys are unfortunately in critical danger of extinction.
👍By protecting the Kikelé forest, we are also protecting the Colobes.
And that's a winning combination for Humy.

✔️Chez HUMY, we love art too!
Here's another way to support our projects:
➡️ buy a work by street art and/or nature-inspired artists.
♦️1 purchase = 1 tax exemption of 39.6%♦️
So check out the Solidarit'art website = the link is in the bio.
Proceeds from each sale will go to local Humy projects for nature and people.

➡️Préserver biodiversity at HUMY: a big yes, but not the only one.
We are also committed to supporting all living things: nature, but also people.
This project in Burkina Faso is a superb example of the link between man and nature.
Many thanks to @kokopellisemences for the donation of reproductive seeds.

👉The HUMY CLUB was just a few days ago.
We talked about biodiversity and projects... but not only that.
We learned how to tie a chèche, exchanged ideas and, above all, had a really good time together.
🙏Thanks to @1001lunes for hosting and for their loyal support alongside us.
🙏Thanks also to @mohamedagrissa and everyone else who was there.
Your commitment and presence count for more than you can imagine.
These moments motivate us even more to keep going.
